This is how I was described by Mademoiselle Rice. Though some of what she says may be true, for my loathing of humanity is something I've always had, and I certainly am a vicious creature, (but we always love those who are vicious, don't we?) and perhaps there is even some truth to feeling jealousy about little Claudia, there is far more to me than just that minuscule description.
Left out, for instance, is the mentioning of a great love. A great love that I felt and still feel for one and one alone - and that is Santiago. Louis thought he'd destroyed us both. Ha! Not quite.
